About Jen

Before starting EverSpring, I spent more than 20 years leading employee communications for global companies. While I enjoyed the creativity and strategy behind the work, I often found myself looking forward to time spent in my garden far more than another corporate meeting or presentation. Gardening became my outlet, my creative space, and eventually, my second career.

Like many homeowners, I struggled to find people who truly cared for gardens the way I did. Too often, maintenance crews rushed through properties, over-pruned plants, ignored seasonal needs, or treated gardens like chores instead of living spaces that needed attention and understanding. I also spent far too much money on landscaping services that charged premium prices for work that didn’t always reflect the level of care or expertise I expected.

So I started learning to do more myself. Over time, that grew into a genuine passion for understanding plants, seasonal care, irrigation, lighting, garden design, and all the small details that help outdoor spaces thrive. Friends and neighbors began asking for help with their own gardens, and EverSpring Gardens naturally grew from there.

Today, I love helping clients create gardens that feel beautiful, welcoming, and well cared for — whether that means refreshing an existing space, selecting the right plants, troubleshooting problems, creating container gardens, improving lighting, or simply helping a garden feel alive again. My approach is personal, collaborative, and flexible, with a focus on thoughtful garden care without the huge landscaping-company overhead and pricing.

I believe gardens should bring joy, not stress — and sometimes a few thoughtful changes can completely transform how a space feels.
